环氧树脂及其固化物的性能都有哪些？应用中都有哪些优缺点？

环氧树脂优良的物理机械和电绝缘性能、与各种材料的粘接性能、以及其使用工艺的灵活性是其他热固性塑料所不具备的。因此它能制成涂料、复合材料、浇铸料、胶粘剂、模压材料和注射成型材料，在国民经济的各个领域中得到广泛的应用

力学性能高

环氧树脂具有很强的内聚力，分子结构致密，导致力学性能高于酚醛树脂和不饱和聚酯等通用型热固性树脂。

附着力强

环氧树脂固化体系中含有活性极大的环氧基、羟基以及醚键、胺键、酯键等极性基团，赋予环氧树脂对金属、陶瓷、玻璃混凝土、木材、部分塑料等极性材料以优良的附着力。

固化收缩率小

环氧树脂固化收缩率一般为1%~2%，是热固性树脂中固化收缩率最小的品种之一（酚醛树脂为8%~10%，不饱和聚酯为4%~6%，有机硅树脂为4%~8%）。而且固化后线性膨胀系数也很小，所以固化后体积变化不大。

工艺性好

环氧树脂固化过程中基本不产生低分子挥发物，所以可低压成型或接触压成型，能与各种固化剂配合制造无溶剂、高固体、粉末涂料及水性涂料等环保型涂料。

优良的电绝缘性

环氧树脂具有良好的电绝缘性，是热固性树脂中介电性能最好的品种之一。

稳定性好，耐腐蚀性强

不含碱、盐等杂质的环氧树脂不易变质。只要储存得当（密封、不受潮、不遇高温），其储藏期为1年。并且环氧固化物具有优良的化学稳定性，耐酸碱盐等多种介质腐蚀性能优于不饱和聚酯、酚醛树脂等热固性树脂，因此，环氧树脂可大量用作防腐蚀底漆，又因环氧树脂固化物成三维网状结构，有能耐油类等的浸渍，大量应用于油槽、油轮、飞机的整体邮箱内壁衬里等。

当然了，环氧树脂也存在一些缺点，比如耐候性差，环氧树脂中一般含有芳香醚键，固化物经日光照射后易降解断链，所以通常的双酚A型环氧树脂固化物在户外日晒，易失去光泽，逐渐粉化，因此不宜用作户外的面漆，另外，环氧树脂低温固化性能差，因此，对于大型物体如船舶、桥梁、港湾、油槽等寒季施工十分不便。

Epoxy resin curing system contains the active epoxy group, hydroxyl group, ether bond, amine bond, ester bond and other polar groups, which give epoxy resin excellent adhesion to metal, ceramics, glass concrete, wood, part of plastic and other polar materials.

Low shrinkage rate of curing

The curing shrinkage of epoxy resin is generally 1% - 2%, which is one of the varieties with the lowest curing shrinkage rate (8% - 10% of phenolic resin, 4% - 6% unsaturated polyester and 4% - 8% silicone resin). And the linear expansion coefficient is also very small after curing, so the volume of the cured is not changed much.
